Time for some finanically responsible families…

While I agree that even the poor have the right to have children, we need to start teaching people to be financially responsible.

This article is not meant as any sort of ATTACK on honest families who were doing well, and both parents lost their jobs, or had some other form of mis fortune come to them, please don’t think that, infact the latter this is about helping those people, those people need and should have access to social assistance to get back on their feet

Recent I received word that someone I know is now having yet another child. (FYI — this is unrelated to my previous story) At current this “family” is living on ends meat, literally. Handouts from the curch puts food on the table, the “man” has no job and the “mother” refuses to work, citing that her job is to “Take care of the children”

Isn’t step one providing for them?

Having children bears significant financial responsibility, and before you have children you need to decide if you can provide for them. If you cannot, you need to re-consider if having children is the right thing to do.

If you are taking handouts, can barely pay your rent, and already have one child, chances are, having another is simply not in your budget. It is my feeling that these people have children, to satisfy their own worldly need to BREED in some way, and “Oh I want to have 18 children, and don’t worry GOD will provide for them”

Yeah, i’m sure all the kids dying in ethiopia are glad to see “GOD” is helping them.

In a world where social assistance rarely reaches those who honestly need it, why not spare the burden on an already over milked system and stop having kids if you cannot provide for them, so that people who are honestly down on their luck can get the help they really need.
